The Evanses are moving to Mississippi to be with James, who has a great new job. Their joy quickly turns to sorrow when they receive a telegram during their going-away party informing them of James' death.

Episode summaryEdit

With James getting a better job in Mississippi, the Evan's family begins to pack up their things in preparation for their big move. Meanwhile, Michael falls in love for the first time and is reluctant to leave Chicago.


The Evanses prepare for a big move to Mississippi after James finds a better paying job down south. However, Michael doesn't want to leave due to the fact that he has fallen in love for the first time. He later changes his mind, but in the middle of the family's going away party the family receives some very heartbreaking news that will change them forever.
