Springtime in the Ghetto is the tenth episode of Season 1 of Good Times, also the 10th overall episode in the series.
Synopsis[]
Florida is a shoe-in to win the cleanest apartment award, but when Michael brings home the neighborhood wino, her chances of winning deteriorate.
Storyline[]
Florida tries to clean the apartment in order to win first prize for the nicest apartment in the ghetto. Unfortunately, Michael picks the wrong time to show how good a Christian he is by bringing home Ned the Wino. Now, they not only have to clean the apartment, but clean, and disinfect, Ned before the judging committee arrives.
Plot summary[]
Florida is running in a cleanest apartment competition and is sure she will win. However, her chances are dashed when Michael tries to help someone in need and brings home Ned the Wino.
