Synopsis[]
Thelma meets and falls in love with Larry Walters, but Florida and James disapprove.
Storyline[]
Thelma (BernNadette Stanis) is in love again. Her new boyfriend is a fast-talking young man named Larry Walters (Carl Franklin). Florida (Esther Rolle) and James (John Amos) aren't impressed over Thelma's choice for a potential future husband - especially when it becomes apparent that Larry's dreams aren't quite matched by his abilities or his job prospects.
