Synopsis[]
J.J. meets a young student who wants art lessons. Though J.J. offers to teach for free, the boy's father refuses to let him study with J.J.
Storyline[]
J.J. holds painting classes in the apartment and Thelma and Michael are tired of it. However, he wants to help one student is having problems at home. His father does not want him painting and is being abusive.
Plot summary[]
To bring some much needed money into the Evans household, J.J. begins giving art lessons in his living room. Curious as to why his student Earl (Ernest Harden, Jr.) is acting so strangely, J.J. soon learns the terrible truth. Earl's father (Hal Williams) is dead set against his son becoming an artist -- and he's willing to use violence to exert his authority.
