J.J. In Trouble is the 21st episode of Season 3 of Good Times and the 58th episode overall. Written by John Baskin and Roger Shulman, the episode, which was directed by Herbert Kenwith, originally aired on CBS-TV on February 3, 1976.
Synopsis[]
While the parents are away, J.J. learns that he may have given VD to one of his girlfriends. His humiliation prevents him from visiting a free clinic for treatment.
Storyline[]
While Florida and James are away for the weekend, the kids are alone, which causes chaos when J.J. thinks he is the boss and tries to get out of doing house work. However, the real trouble comes when an ex-girlfriend named Mary Ann confronts J.J. with the news that she has VD and accuses J.J. of giving it to her. J.J. must now go the clinic to get an exam to confirm whether or not he has it before Florida and James come home.
NOTE: Esther Rolle & John Amos do not appear in this episode
