J.J. Becomes a Man: Part 2 is the third episode of Season 2 of Good Times, also the sixteenth series episode overall. It is one-half of a two episode story. Written by Jack Elinson and Norman Paul, the episode, which was directed by Herbert Kenwith, made its premiere on CBS-TV, airing on September 24, 1974.

Synopsis Edit

The police question J.J. about the robbery and the Evanses contemplate going to a loan shark for J.J.'s bail. Part two of two-episode story arc.

Storyline Edit

After hearing about J.J. getting arrested, the Evanses along with Willona head for the police station to find out what happened and to hopefully post bail. Unfortunately, they can't afford the bail and even consider accepting money from a loan shark. Also, while in the cell, J.J. has a confrontation with a much larger and meaner guy, with very funny results.

Plot summary Edit

J.J. is taken to the police station for questioning about the liquor store robbery. The family gathers there and tries to think up ways to raise enough money for J.J.'s bail and ultimately consider taking money from a loan shark.
